It looks like the States is making some headway in getting biking and walking on an even footing with auto, train and aviation transportation. This is good news for Active Transportation. If only Canada was moving in the same direction.
Ray LaHood is the Secretary of Transportation said that "This is the end of favouring motorised transportation at the expense of non-motorised" Which is good news for all Americans trying to make changes from auto-centric cities and towns. I hope that some of this flows over the border and affects Canada. I have been scouring the Action Plan government website for a list of bike paths or other trails or bike paths, i haven't found any yet. If you find a list, please let me know where it is.
