Money money

We all know that money doesn't grow on trees. This graph from Good (below also) Shows how much money is being spent by the US Department of Transportation each year on Cycling and walking improvements. Think we could get either the BC government or the Feds to match up to 10% of that? Not likely, the fact is cycling and walking are still in infancy here in Canada. The cities are just starting to catch up. Why can't Golden be a leader in that? Setting examples to others that increase the different modes of transport all year round.
